AI Ethics
We Disclose AI Use
When AI tools are used in client deliverables, we say so. You will always know whether content, code, or analysis was AI-assisted and to what degree.
We Don't Automate Harm
We will not build systems — agentic or otherwise — designed to deceive, manipulate, surveil without consent, or remove human oversight from decisions that affect people's lives, livelihoods, or rights.
Human Oversight by Default
Agentic systems we build include checkpoints for human review. We design for interruption, not full autonomy, unless the client has explicitly accepted the risks and controls are in place.
Data Minimization
We do not collect or retain client data beyond what the project requires. We don't train models on client data without explicit written permission.
Client Ethics
Honest Scoping
We do not inflate project scope to increase billing. If a project is smaller than a client expects, we say so and price accordingly.
Conflict of Interest Disclosure
If we have a relationship — financial or otherwise — with a tool, platform, or vendor we recommend, we disclose it before recommending it.
Fair Pricing
We price based on value and complexity, not on how much we think someone can pay. Community and nonprofit rates are available — ask.
Community Ethics
No Extractive Engagement
We do not parachute into communities, extract stories or relationships for marketing, and leave. Community engagement is ongoing or it doesn't happen.
Representation
We acknowledge that Guam and Pacific Islander communities are underrepresented in tech. We actively work to change that — through hiring, mentorship, and making our knowledge publicly available.
Reporting Concerns
If you believe we have acted in a way that contradicts these commitments, contact us directly. We take these seriously and respond personally.
